Tableau Desktop I: fundamentals training
Tableau Desktop I training is designed to help you understand and use the important concepts and techniques in Tableau to move from simple to complex visualisations and learn how to combine them into interactive dashboards.
This training is for the beginner to intermediate level Tableau user. It is for anyone working with data, regardless of technical or analytical background.
Learning targets
- Connect to your data, customise it and save it as a data source
- Understand Tableau terminology
- Use the Tableau interface and view to create powerful visualisations as effectively as possible
- Create basic calculations including string manipulation, basic arithmetic calculations, custom aggregations and ratios, date calculations, logical instructions and quick table calculations
- Use reference lines to highlight data elements
- Use groups, bins, hierarchies, sorts, sets, and filters
- Create visualisations with multiple measures and dimensions
- Share your visualisations with others
- Combine your visualizations into interactive dashboards and publish them to the web

Conditions of enrollment
Registration for training courses closes one week before the training course. The training will take place if there are at least three registrations.
Training can be delivered to groups of up to 15 people, and currently online. Training is conducted in English unless all trainees and the trainer speak Dutch.
Annuleringsbeleid
Onze trainingen worden geleverd aan groepen tot maximaal 15 personen. Vanwege onze planning en het beperkte aantal plaatsen vragen wij je ons annuleringsbeleid te respecteren.
Als je je reservering wilt annuleren of verplaatsen, kun je dat gratis doen tot en met 7 dagen voor de training. Bij annuleren of verplaatsen 7 of minder dagen voor de training, moeten we je 50% van de kosten in rekening brengen. Bij annuleren of verplaatsen binnen 48u voor aanvang van de training, brengen we het volledige bedrag in rekening.
