Tableau Desktop I: fundamentals training

Tableau Desktop I training is designed to help you understand and use the important concepts and techniques in Tableau to move from simple to complex visualisations and learn how to combine them into interactive dashboards.

This training is for the beginner to intermediate level Tableau user. It is for anyone working with data, regardless of technical or analytical background.

Connect to your data, customise it and save it as a data source
Understand Tableau terminology
Use the Tableau interface and view to create powerful visualisations as effectively as possible
Create basic calculations including string manipulation, basic arithmetic calculations, custom aggregations and ratios, date calculations, logical instructions and quick table calculations
Use reference lines to highlight data elements
Use groups, bins, hierarchies, sorts, sets, and filters

Conditions of enrollment

Registration for training courses closes one week before the training course. The training will take place if there are at least three registrations.

Training can be delivered to groups of up to 15 people, and currently online. Training is conducted in English unless all trainees and the trainer speak Dutch.

Cancellation Policy Our trainings are delivered to groups of up to 15 people. Due to our schedule and limited seating, we ask that you respect our cancellation policy. If you wish to cancel or reschedule your reservation, you may do so free of charge up to and including 7 days prior to the training. If you cancel or reschedule 7 or less days before the training, we must charge you 50% of the cost. If you cancel or reschedule within 48h before the training, we will charge you the full amount.
